DIF-NY provided a third-party opinion of the project, on the company's tenders, the construction process, receiving quotes for various transactions, incoming invoices including change orders, actual planned schedules, main contractor and subcontractors. In addition to findings specific to the process, the company offered recommendations to improve the bidding process, the level of completion of the bid documents and possible problems in the contracts.

The 75-story building is a supertall skyscraper at 157 West 57th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues in the Midtown neighborhood of Manhattan, New York. It stands 306 meters tall, making it at the time of completion the tallest residential building in the city for several months until 432 Park Avenue was completed. The building has 92 housing units on top of the new Park Hyatt hotel with 210 rooms, which is set to be the flagship project of Hyatt hotels. The developer of the building is Extell Development Company, the contractor is Lending Lease Project Management & Construction, and the architect is Christian de Portzempark.

The building will rise to a height of 470 meters when completed, it will become the second tallest skyscraper in the United States.
